Appeal after brazen midday theft of car from Co Armagh village

Police are appealing for information following the theft of a car in Laurelvale on Thursday afternoon.

The brazen theft happened in broad daylight and the PSNI are hoping there were witnesses to the crime.

A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating the theft of a 2004 grey Peugeot 407 with registration ‘AEZ 8820’ from Laurelvale around lunchtime today.

“If you have any information about this theft please contact police on 101 quoting serial 1277 of 17/05/2018.

“Please continue to report any suspicious behaviour in your area.”

There are no further details at this stage.
