Air Ambulance called to single-vehicle collision between Tandragee and Scarva

Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision between Tandragee and Scarva this afternoon (Wednesday).

Police and multiple ambulances – including the Air Ambulance – are in attendance at what appears to be a single-vehicle collision on the Aughlish Road, close to the Ballinabeck cemetery.

Eye-witnesses have described seeing a black vehicle, currently on its side, having seemingly collided with a tree.

While the road had been closed for a period the air ambulance left the scene shortly before 5.30pm.

Traffic in the area is being let through by police who have been controlling the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area regardless.

7.30pm police update: One person has been taken to hospital.
