A man and two children had to be rescued on the Mourne Mountains late on Monday night.
The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team (MMRT) were called into action shortly after 8pm.
A spokesperson for the Team said they received a request to assist a party of one adult and two children who had become stuck on difficult ground on Slieve Binnian.
“The team responded, located the party and were able to assist them safely off the hill,” they added.
Four members went up the mountain before locating the distressed party.
The operation was stood down just after midnight.
