Two German Shepherd pups and mother snatched by two men near Co Armagh border

UPDATE: Owner’s joy as stolen pups back again after woman spots them being dumped from van

A frantic pet owner is pleading for help after three German Shepherds – a mother and two young pups – were snatched close to the Co Armagh border.

Phillip Ward, who is currently on holiday in Cyprus, is appealing for information after his female dog, Aurora, and her two 17-week-old pups, Hank and Willow, were stolen from his parents home, over the south Armagh border, close to Omeath.

The theives were caught on CCTV, however, the camera was unable to catch the registration plate of the two men who stole the dogs in broad daylight.

Philip, speaking to Armagh I described how the dogs, at around 10 am this morning, were called down to the front gate of the property by the men.

The two young pups were lifted over first before the Aurora was pinned to the floor by two heavy-set men after trying to fight back.

Philip stated that all the dogs have collars and microchips, but that Willow does not have a tag on her collar.

Hank is a white pup with the two females being a golden/tan colour.

Philip has pleaded for help saying: “I need them home they are two wee babies and the mother I have had for four years”.

This comes just days after Co Armagh dog owner had her three Alsatian puppies stolen from her home in Keady.

Thankfully, those pups made it home the next day; fingers crossed for a similar outcome.

Please help and share this appeal. And if you have any information please contact Phillip on 07845124236.
