**UPDATE: This road has since re-opened**
A road in south Armagh has been closed following a serious collision around lunch time today (Thursday).
The Crossmaglen Road in Lislea has been closed between Longfield Road and Ballykeel Road following the incident, which is understood to have involved a lorry.
Diversions are in place and police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
There are no further details on this collision at present but this story will be updated as and when more information becomes available.
Our thoughts are with those involved this afternoon.
