Detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have made a further arrest as part of their investigation into an attack on Lurgan Police Station earlier this year.

Searches were carried out at a number of properties in the Portadown area on Thursday morning, July 9, during which a number of items, including electronic devices, were seized.

A 35-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act and remains in police custody at this time.

The attack, which police say put innocent lives at risk, took place on the night of Monday, March 30.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are again appealing for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
