There are long tailbacks following a serious two-vehicle smash close to the Northway in Portadown.
Traffic is queuing onto the M12 following the incident on the Kernan Loop around 6pm this evening (Monday).
According to one eye-witness, a car has overturned and the recovery process has begun.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area completely.
The M12 going into Portadown is closed with traffic diverted onto the Carn roundabout due to the accident.
There are no further details at this stage.
Motorists are asked to avoid Kernan Loop, Portadown following a two vehicle road traffic collision.
Diversions are in place.
