He left the premises but then proceeded to expose his penis and urinate in the street

A Bessbrook man who urinated in the street whilst intoxicated has been handed a £100 fine.

Court heard the incident occurred after the 33-year-old was asked to leave a Portadown kebab takeaway due to his condition.

Gary Worsford, of Derrymore Road, pleaded guilty to indecent behaviour at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

It was heard that on May 30, police were called to King Kebab on Bridge Street in Portadown to reports of an intoxicated male.

Officers asked the male, who identified himself as the defendant, to leave the premises.

Worsford did so but then proceeded to expose his penis and urinate in the street.

The defendant, who represented himself in court, made no comments in mitigation.

He was ordered to pay a fine of £100, along with the offender’s levy of £15, within eight weeks.
