Police in Armagh have described a recent meeting with political representatives as productive.
Inspector Kieran Quinn, Armagh NPT, met with the DUP’s William Irwin to discuss concerns around recent criminal and antisocial activity in Tandragee.
Inspector Quinn said: “There have been a few incidents in Tandragee in recent weeks that have raised concerns among the local community.
“These have included an incident of graffiti and also an assault on a 19 year old man. Four people were arrested within hours of the assault and charged.
“I can reassure the community that we regularly patrol Tandragee and respond to calls for assistance from the local residents.
“We are keen to continue working with the community and would encourage anyone who is interested in working with us to make their community safer, to contact us on 101.”
