Two vehicles stolen during overnight ‘creeper’ burglary at Newry house

A red Renault Kadjar has since been recovered but a black Ford Ranger remains missing

Two vehicles have been stolen during a creeper style burglary in Newry.

It happened in the Chancellor’s Road area sometime between midnight and 5.45am today (Sunday).

A black Ford Ranger and a red Renault Kadjar were stolen from a property in the area.

Detective Sergeant Curley said: “It was reported that entry was gained to the rear of the property and the keys for both vehicles were taken. The Ford Ranger remains outstanding at this time, with the Renault Kadjar recovered following the incident.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to this incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 385 21/07/24.

“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
