Some traffic delay should be expected in Newry on Friday evening, 29th August, due to a planned parade in the city.
Beginning at 7.15pm from Newry Olympic Hockey Club, the route takes in Belfast Road, Downshire Road, Church Avenue, Rathfriland Road, Sandys Street, Trevor Hill, past the war memorial and returning to the Hockey Club via Sugar Island, Trevor Hill, Downshire Road, and Belfast Road.
The parade is expected to conclude at 10.30pm.
Officers will be on the ground to accommodate the flow of traffic in the city but, to avoid potential delays, please seek an alternative route for your journey where possible.
