Thieves smashed their way on to a Co Armagh farmer’s property overnight before helping themselves to a trailer.
The incident happened at a farm at Mullaglass.
Sometime between 9pm last night (Saturday) and this morning, a new Nugent cattle trailer was stolen.
The culprits forced their way on to the farm before setting their sights on the trailer.
“A vehicle smashed through the locked gate,” said a friend of the owner. “They left dark blue paint on the gate and a smashed taillight.
“They then made off in the direction of Armagh.”
The theft has been reported to the police.
