A Newry mother-of-two has sadly succumbed to her injuries in hospital following an accident in Dublin at the weekend.

She spent the following days on the intensive care unit at hospital on a ventilator and had suffered a severe brain injury, as a result of the horrific accident.

Both the local community and those from far and wide rallied behind Danielle’s family over the last week, sending positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes.

Over £114,000 has also been raised for her devastated family via a GoFundMe page, launched by her aunt, Jackie Mullan.

Tragically, Danielle passed away on October 1.
