A south Armagh based competitions company are set to donate a significant sum to Southern Area Hospice and giveaway a life-changing prize to one lucky person.
Avant Prize Draws have launched their latest prize draw competition, with 100% of the profits going directly to Southern Area Hospice.
The competition winner will walk away with an incredible bundle: a BMW 5 Series M Sport, a Ford Ranger Wildtrak, £5,000 in cash, and a Milwaukee Toolkit — or they can opt for a £40,000 tax-free cash alternative.
Supporting local charities has always been at the core of their business model – where people are able to win a life-changing prize whilst also donating to charity.
Avant say they have been inspired by the success of other UK-based companies operating under a similar model, donating significant sums to charities each month.
After a successful first year in business, they are now in a strong position to start delivering impactful, large-scale competitions of their own.
This competition is the first of several they have planned to run in partnership with Southern Area Hospice — a charity that provides vital care and support to people throughout the local community.
Like many others in the Newry and Mourne area, in the past the Avant team have had connections use the Charity’s services. So, when they learned SAH need to raise over £4 million a year just to continue operating, they knew it was the charity they wanted to be involved with.
The Hospice team has been incredibly welcoming and supportive throughout their campaign saying: “We are delighted to welcome Avant Prize Draws as our newest charity partner and are very grateful for their generous commitment to donate 100% of the profits from their upcoming online competition to Southern Area Hospice.
“It will cost around £6 million to run the Hospice this year, and we must raise £4 million of that through fundraising alone. This remarkable initiative helps us move closer to that goal supporting our work to provide vital specialist care to local people when they need it most.
“This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long and meaningful partnership with Avant Prize Draws, and we look forward to working together in the future. We wish all entrants the very best of luck in this exciting competition.”
Avant Prize Draws vision is to be donating five – and even six-figure sums – to local charities each year as they continue to grow.
