An independent business that needs no introduction, Dalzells of Markethill is the one-stop shop for electrical appliances and bedding.

Established in 1956 by Noel and Evelyn Dalzell, the Main Street business has been a staple in the story of Markethill for nearly 70 years.

With just shy of 30 staff and eight lorries on the road, Dalzells services Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, alongside the mainland UK.

They’re also a keen supporter of local sport, being sponsors of teams such as Portadown FC, Armagh City FC and Armagh Rugby Club to name a few.

Kitchen Appliances

They stock a range of around 10,000 large retail appliances online and in-store, boasting the largest stock of Range Cookers and American Fridge Freezers across the whole island of Ireland.

Their huge range of products include electrical kettles and toasters, along with large kitchen appliances such as: washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and hobs.

The products all come from trusted household manufacturers such as Bosch, Siemens and Neff, alongside more niche and bespoke brands.

Beds and Furniture

Dalzells also have an extensive furniture store with over 500 Divans, mattresses and adjustable beds from specialist manufacturers.

As one of Northern Ireland’s premier independent bed retailers, Dalzells stock a huge range of well-known manufacturers such as King Koil, Hypnos and Respa.

They also have a large stock of adjustable beds along with riser recliner chairs which are eligible for medical VAT relief at 0% and ready for immediate, free delivery across Northern Ireland or to Counties Dublin, Lough or Monaghan.
