Police appeal for driver who knocked down 13-year-old boy

Police have appealed for the driver of a car who knocked down a young boy to come forward.

The incident happened at approximately 8.30am this morning (Friday) on William Street in Lurgan.

The 13-year-old boy was cycling across the road when he was knocked off his bicycle.

The youngster suffered no serious injuries, however, police are looking to speak to the driver of this vehicle.

The driver did reportedly stop following the incident to check on the boy but who did no details were exchanged.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “If you are the driver or know who it is please contact 101 quoting the reference 436 18/01/2019.”
