Organisers of Lurgan Show appeal after trailer and 450 poultry pens stolen

items were loaned to Omagh Show

Organisers of a County Armagh show are appealing for information after a trailer and 450 poultry pens were stolen.

The items were on loan to the Omagh Show from their Lurgan counterparts, but went missing on Friday, July 7, at around 7pm.

Poultry pens are walk-in cages to protect your chickens from predators, and can sometimes be used in chicken runs.

The trailer is a Nugent, approximately 6ft 6 inches x 12ft with the Lurgan Show name on the side panels and on the number plate in smaller text size.

PSNI are currently investigation but the organisers want people to be on the lookout as they believe to may be sold on to unsuspecting farmers, or members of the public.

If you have any information, please contact Lurgan Show secretary Michele Doran on 07732177214 or email lurganshow@hotmail.co.uk.

Please help and share this appeal.
