A Lurgan man in breach of a suspended sentence for possession of cannabis will have to wait until next month to learn his fate.
The judge ruled that a report would have to be prepared by probation before the 24-year-old is to be sentenced.
Jake O’Brien, of Dill Avenue, pleaded guilty to possession of class B at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Defence solicitor Christopher Logue stated that the defendant was in breach of a suspended sentence for exactly the same offence.
District Judge Mark McGarrity commented that a report would need to be prepared in the case.
O’Brien will appear before the court again on July 10 for sentencing.
