Tina McEntee

The funeral of young mother-of-two, Tina McEntee, will take place tomorrow (Monday) following her sudden passing at her home in Aghagallon earlier this week.

Tina, who was in her 30s, has been described as a loving mother to her two boys, Seán Óg and Darráigh, and a much-loved daughter, sister and friend to many.

Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 10am in St Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon, with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery, Lurgan.

The Requiem Mass will also be available to view online via St Patrick’s Church webcam.

Tina is survived by her beloved children, father Tom Cusack, and sisters Shannon and Kiera-Louise, and will be “very deeply regretted by her loving children, father, sisters and the entire family circle.”

Tributes have continued to pour in online, with friends and loved ones expressing heartbreak at the loss of “the nicest girl with the biggest heart.”

One friend wrote: “You were the best mummy to your boys — rest in peace gorgeous girl. Thinking of your boys and your family and friends.”

Another added: “Rest easy, Tina. Look over your wee babies. Just awful.”

One post read: “Rest easy Tina McEntee memories will last a lifetime but will never forget you.”

The wider Lurgan and Aghagallon communities have been left deeply shocked by the tragedy.

A police spokesperson confirmed earlier that officers had attended the scene of a sudden death in the Aghalee Road area on Thursday, October 2, adding that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

To her heartbroken family, friends, and especially her two young sons, the community extends its deepest sympathy.

May she rest in peace.

Tina’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on St Patrick’s Church webcam.
