Police are appealing for information following the theft of thousands of pounds worth of equipment in Loughgall.

Some time between 10pm on Tuesday and 10am on Wednesday, a white Lamborghini tractor, Hermus low loader and Daewoo 130 digger were stolen from a property along the Clonmain Road in Loughgall.

Police are urging the public to come forward with any information you may have to help

Newry and Armagh DUP MLA William Irwin MLA has spoken of his concern at the high-value theft.

“This is a very concerning incident representing a very significant cost and loss to the owners,” he said.

“I condemn those behind this criminal activity. This represents someone’s livelihood being stolen and it will obviously be costly to replace such expensive and large pieces of machinery.

“I understand the machinery was stolen between the hours of 10pm on Tuesday night and 10am on Wednesday morning. I would appeal for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity on the Clonmain Road or surrounding area to contact the PSNI and assist them with their inquiries.”
