Four injured in accident involving car and motorcycles

Four people have been injured after an accident at Mayobridge.

A car and three motorcycles were involved in the collision which happened earlier this afternoon (Sunday).

It is understood that four people have been hurt. One has been taken by ambulance to nearby Daisy Hill Hospital and two others to Craigavon Area Hospital.

One has been transferred by helicopter to the Royal Victoria Hospital.

The full extent of their injuries is not yet known.

It happened on the Aughnagon Road and motorists are being asked to avoid the area.

There are no further details at present.
