A Dungannon man has died following a motorcycle collision near Omagh on Sunday morning.
Police have named the victim as 61-year-old Patrick Deery. He was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Clanabogan Road shortly before 11am on April 26.
Detective Inspector Dave Stewart, from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit, said: “A report was received shortly before 11am on Sunday morning, of a collision involving a motorcycle on the Clanabogan Road.
“Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, however, Patrick was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
The Clanabogan Road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses and footage.
DI Stewart continued: “The Collision Investigation Unit is appealing to anyone who may have any information which could assist, or who was travelling in the area at the time and captured any dash-cam or mobile phone footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 536 26/04/26.”

Mr Deery’s death comes amid a tragic weekend on Tyrone’s roads, with another person losing their life in a separate collision in the Caledon area on Saturday night.
That incident, involving a van, occurred on Derrycourtney Road shortly after 11pm on April 25.
Police, paramedics and firefighters attended, but the victim was pronounced dead at the roadside. The road, which had been closed overnight to allow for examination and recovery, has since reopened.
One arrest has been made in connection with the Caledon collision, and enquiries are continuing.
