A 14-year-old boy has been caught driving a JCB telehandler vehicle on the road in County Tyrone, police have said.
The incident occurred in Dungannon last night (Wednesday).
A spokesperson for NI Road Policing and Safety said officers from the Mahon Road station spotted the vehicle being driven by an “unusually young looking driver”.
When the vehicle was stopped, they discovered that the driver was 14-years-old and had taken the machine without his parent’s knowledge.
The spokesperson added: “After speaking with the boys parents, he will now be reported for a number of offences.”
