Cutting equipment used to free woman (70) and man (42) after Armagh crash

Hydraulic cutting equipment had to be used to free a 70-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man after a two car crash in Armagh on Tuesday.

The collision happened on the Battleford Road and firefighters received the call to the scene at around 6pm.

Three other people were also injured but freed themselves from the vehicles.

All five were taken to hospital by ambulance. Conditions are not known.

Fire crews from Armagh and Dungannon stations attended the incident.
