Jewellery stolen during spate of overnight house burglaries in south Armagh

Detectives are appealing for information following a spate of burglaries at homes in the south Armagh area.

In all three properties were targeted and police want the public’s help to catch the culprits.

Detective Sergeant Ritchie said: “Sometime between 8pm on Wednesday, November 17 and 7:45am on Thursday, November, 18, it was reported entry was gained to a house in the Monog Road area of Crossmaglen.

“It was reported that clothing and jewellery was taken and the property was ransacked during the incident.

“Sometime between 7pm on Wednesday, November 17, and 9am on Thursday, November 18, it was reported entry was gained to two houses located at the Ballsmill Road area of Crossmaglen.

“Both properties were ransacked and it was reported that clothing and jewellery was taken.

“Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, we are investigating a potential link between all three incidents.

“We are appealing for anyone with any information in relation to these incidents to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 262 18/11/21.
