Four men steal substantial sum of money in Crossmaglen burglary

It is believed the suspects used a dark coloured BMW

A group of men broke into commercial premises in Crossmaglen on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary at a commercial premises located on The Square in Crossmaglen.

It was reported that at approximately 3:15am on Saturday (June 17), a group of what is believed to be four people gained entry to a commercial premises located on The Square, Crossmaglen.

As a result of the break in a sum of money was stolen, this included both Sterling and Euros.

It is believed the suspects used a dark coloured BMW to travel to and from the commercial premises.

Constable William Nulty said : “We are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact police at Crossmaglen on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 477 of the 17/06/2017.

“Or, alternately if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
