Four cattle stolen in latest rural crime raid in south Armagh

Police appeal for information on suspicious people of vehicles seen in the area

Police have appealed for information after the latest incident of rural crime in south Armagh.

Four cattle were stolen from the Monog Road in Crossmaglen.

It happened sometime between 4pm on Tuesday afternoon and 10am yesterday (Thursday) morning.

The PSNI is investigating and wants to hear from anyone who may have noted suspicious activity – vehicles or strangers – in the area between the times stated.

If anyone can help in any way they are asked to get in touch with police in Newry using the non-emergency number 101 and quoting reference.

Alternatively, information can also be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
