Up to 1,800 homes and businesses without power in Craigavon

There has been a major power cut in Craigavon this morning (Wednesday).

The outage, which is understood to have been caused by “equipment failure”, is affecting almost 1,800 home and business in the area.

Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) are aware of the issue and have sent engineers to remedy the fault.

Homes are expected to be without power for a number of hours, with a restoration time 1.45pm, however, it may return before then.
