A 15-year-old has been arrested for drink driving.
The PSNI Craigavon confirmed that the teenager was one of 17 arrests made overnight for various offences.
These included drink driving, drugs and thefts, as police responded to over 160 incidents across the borough.
The PSNI had promised increased moves to detect drink drivers throughout the festive period.
And as New Year’s Eve arrived, they had warned via social media that they would be requiring people to carry out breath tests at several locations across the district.
The teenager’s arrest came as part of that concerted operation.
Police have also repeated their warning not to get behind the wheel under the influence.
PSNI have said they will continue to target drink drivers in 2019, adding that they do not want to “catch drink drivers, we want to stop people drink driving”.
