Police PSNI Emergency Craigavon Hospital

A Co. Armagh man who was disorderly in Craigavon Area Hospital will have to wait until next month to learn his fate.

The 28-year-old was also found with both pregabalin and diazepam in his possession on the same date.

Craig Johnston, of Gilpin Park, Dollingstown, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour and two counts of possession of Class B drugs at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The particulars outline that all offences were committed on August 6, with the defendant having behaved disorderly at Craigavon Area Hospital on that date.

The Class C drugs are referred to as pregabalin and diazepam.

Defence solicitor Suin Downey stated: “There is a very relevant record. I am in your worship’s hands but I do think this is a case which would benefit from a presentence report.”

District Judge Amanda Brady commented: “I think that’s sensible.”

The case was adjourned until March 4 for sentencing.
