While the facts of the case were not outlined in the short hearing, the court was told that the offences are alleged to have occurred on January 10 this year at a property in the Carrigart Crescent area of Craigavon.
The Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence counsel made no contrary submissions.
District Judge Bernie Kelly, satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer, remanded the defendant into custody to appear at Craigavon Crown Court for arraignment on October 6.
