Convicted sex offender accused of failing to supply details to police including his address

He is also charged with burglary of a house in Portadown and he and a co-accused on that matter are in custody

A convicted sex offender is accused of failing to supply details to police including where he was living.

Joseph Francis McCabe (42), with an address listed on a charge sheet as Edward Street in Portadown, is charged in relation to March 25 this year.

He is also charged with burglary of a house at Thomas Street in Portadown on March 29 this year, when items taken included £300 cash, a 100 dollar bill, a pair of shoes and a set of house keys.

Regarding April 2 this year he is alleged to have been in possession of pregabalin.

A co-accused, Dariusz Chodur (52), with an address given as no fixed abode in Ballymena, faces one charge – burglary of the Thomas Street house on March 29.

Both accused are in custody.

At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court, on Friday, the cases were adjourned to July 17.
