Close to 40 new homes proposed in significant housing boost for Craigavon

Close to 40 new homes could be built in Craigavon.

Proposals have been drawn up for a development which would represent a significant investment while providing a boost to the local construction industry.

An application has been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.

The applicant – Solarus Properties Ltd, based at Kesh in County Fermanagh – is hoping to build on “land north east of 406 410 414 Westacres, Drumgor, Craigavon”.

A total of 38 houses is planned, as well as associated site works.

The site at present is described in the application to council as “vacant land, car parking and footpaths”.

The proposals will now be advertised shortly.
