ABC Business Games: building employee wellbeing, one game at a time!

In today’s fast-paced, always on world of business, the mental load is heavier than ever and the pressure can feel constant. No matter the industry, one thing remains the same – people matter and so does their health and wellbeing.

Encouraging staff to get active is a powerful way to support this. Regular physical activity helps reduce stress, boosts mood and releases those all important feelgood endorphins.

The ABC Business Games offer the perfect opportunity for employees to press pause on the workday and step into something energetic and fun. It’s a day designed to help teams reconnect, move more and enjoy the positive impact of doing something active together.

The games celebrate competition and corporate wellbeing by bringing organisations together for a vibrant day of team sports and activities that encourage connection, movement and communication! Businesses also have the opportunity to avail of free health checks, provided by NI Chest Heart and Stroke.

As part of the Get Moving Business initiative, participating companies commit to prioritising staff wellbeing by organising regular activities inside and outside the workplace including daily or weekly walks, outdoor meetups and movement focused challenges. The culmination of these activities is the ABC Business Games!

To date businesses involved in the ABC Business Games include: White’s Oats, Tarasis Enterprises, AG Wilson Civil Engineering, Café IncredABLE, Ripple Creative, Turkington Construction, Interface, Mackle Pet Foods and Southern GP Federation Support Unit.
