In Pictures: A night of celebration at 2024 Armagh I People of the Year Awards

After months of anticipation and excitement, Armagh I celebrated its People of the Year Awards at the Armagh City Hotel on Friday evening, September 27.

The venue was packed out to capacity, with host Conor Phillips ensuring the laughs and craic were flowing all night.

While some walked away with awards, the night’s main aim was to recognise all our community heroes, both big and small, with all nominees leaving with a memento to mark their amazing achievements.

They say many hands make light work and we would like to take the opportunity to thank all who helped everything come together on the night, from our event sponsors; the staff at Armagh City Hotel; our host – the brilliant Conor Phillips – our musicians; Sárán Ó Machail and Conor Cunningham; our ever-faithful photographer, Vincent Loughran, and of course all our nominees and winners.

Also a big thanks to glass artist, Keith Sheppard, who designed our custom awards for the last number of years.

And, to our generous table sponsors for the evening Ripple Creative, The Vow, Four Star Pizza and Émer Agnew Photography.
