Drugs bust sees £2,500 worths of Class A and B removed from Banbridge house

Two men have been arrested following a drugs bust at a property in Banbridge on Saturday.

PSNI officers from the District Support Team (DST) busted the suspected dealers following a raid in the Oak Grove area of the town.

Around £2500 worth of class A and class B drugs were seized, including 20 bags of ready to deal white powder – suspected to be cocaine – a deal kit of scales, deal bags, powder scoops and mobile phones.

There was a large quantity of cash seized and an address book.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “This is another example of a great hit by our DST, responding to community concerns and based on community information. You tell us what’s happening and this is what you’ll see”.

The men are being questioned for possession of class A and B with intent to supply.

The spokesperson added: “If your dealer suddenly went quiet, now you know why.”
