Opened from Thursday to Sunday, they offer an experience like no other, serving up delicious food and fine wine followed by an evening of entertainment from some of the biggest household names from across the UK and Ireland.

Callan River Accommodation
Planning a trip to Tassagh couldn’t be easier – with a host of properties available to stay in. Callan River Accommodation offer luxury homes and apartments in the Tassagh and Keady areas with homes sleeping from 2 people to 22! Ideal for couples or group bookings.
Visiting guests are also advised that property hosts offer transport to and from Basil Sheils if required – taking the stress away from trying to get a taxi!

Tassagh Post Office and Tearooms
Located in a beautiful stone cottage, Tassagh Post Office and Tearooms offers a quirky experience you’ll not find anywhere else!
The recently reopened tearooms offers something for everyone with both a mix of traditional homemade classics along with modern fusion dishes. They also have a range of homemade desserts for any sweet treat lovers.
Inside the tearoom offers comfortable and cozy seating whilst outside, overlooking the river Callan, there is ample outdoor seating available in the terrace garden and also seating available in the newly refurbished outdoor tea shed.

- Monday – Saturday 9am-2pm
The post office offers all postal services including personal and business banking, parcel drop-off, bill paying and top up and travel services. Along with all your postal services, inside the cottage you will also find a small shop stocked with all your daily essentials! Including fresh bread, local bakes and a large range of condiments.

The Creamery
Once a busy site employing local staff working with diary products, Tasssagh Creamery closed in 2004 resulting in employment loss for local Tassagh people. The site lay derelict for over 13 years, before being redevelopment and life infected back into it with a host of new businesses in recent years including;
A car wash, barber shop, laundrette, tattoo parlour, hairdressers, sports physio and beauty salon.
Each business is conveniently located in The Creamery grounds with ample car parking available. The amenities available in The Creamery mean there is no need for visiting guests to travel outside the Tassagh area with everything you could possibly need within walking distance!
