This September, the much-loved salon is celebrating 20 years at the heart of the community, and it’s looking better than ever.
Back in 2005, when Bronze first opened its doors on Dobbin Street, owners Gerry and Joe set out with one simple goal: to bring the best in tanning and beauty to Armagh. Fast-forward 20 years, and the salon has become a go-to destination, known for blending the latest technology with friendly, down-to-earth care.
True to form, the pair haven’t stood still. The salon has recently completed a full upgrade of its sunbed equipment and now boasts the most expensive and advanced models on the market.
They also introduced the first fully automated spray tan booth to Armagh city. This state-of-the-art system guarantees a flawless, streak-free finish, providing clients with a natural-looking glow in minutes.
Of course, tanning is just one part of the experience. Bronze offers a full menu of beauty services too, from nails and brows to waxing and facials. Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming team ready to deliver everything from quick beauty essentials to full pamper sessions.
But their Armagh salon is only part of the story. For Gerry and Joe, the Dobbin Street salon will always be special as it was their very first store – and the spark that grew into a chain across Northern Ireland and later expanded into wholesale, distribution, and even sunbed manufacturing.
Today, their business supplies salons across the UK, Ireland and beyond, with offices in Keady, Dublin, Budapest, and a new one set to open in Dubai this November.
Affectionately nicknamed the “Bronze Boys,” the duo are quick to credit their loyal customers for the journey so far. “Reaching 20 years in business is an incredible feeling,” says Gerry.
“We wouldn’t be here without our amazing team and the fabulous clients who have supported us since day one. We’re so excited to keep offering the very best in tanning and beauty for many years to come.”
