Power tools among items stolen amid six burglaries in Middletown

Power tools were among the items stolen after sheds and outbuildings at six properties were broken into in Middletown.

Police are investigating reports of the thefts which occurred last Thursday night in the Crossdall Road and Glassdrummond Road areas.

Sheds and outbuildings at six properties were broken into with a number of items including power tools and bicycles reported stolen from several of the properties.

Anyone with any information or who may be able to help with our investigation, is asked to call officers in Armagh on the non-emergency number 101, or submit a report online using the non emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for information following a report of a southern registered van acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Monaghan Road, Middletown at 2am this morning (Monday).

It is not clear whether these incidents are linked by residents are urged to remain vigilant.
