Leading orthodontist Jane Gormley set up Armagh Orthodontic Clinic in 2001 with the aim of bringing local, professional care to the Armagh area, following a two-year appointment as a Senior Dental Officer at the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen.
A true expert in her field, Jane is also a member of the Northern Ireland Specialist Orthodontic Group, the British Orthodontic Society, the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and the European Orthodontic Society.
Whilst initially based on Victoria Street, the practice has grown since then, eventually moving into its new state-of-the-art premises on the Loughgall Road in 2013.
All treatments at the clinic are offered by qualified orthodontists and as providers of the Invisalign system in Northern Ireland, they can offer you “invisible orthodontics” to correct a range of orthodontic problems.
The Invisalign system uses a number of virtually invisible plastic aligners to move your teeth.
Your treatment will be carefully planned and your aligners will be custom made for you using 3D computer images.
As well as being invisible, Invisalign aligners are comfortable and can be removed for eating and cleaning, so while you are having orthodontic treatment that does not interfere with your appearance, neither will it interfere with your lifestyle.
They also offer metal and clear conventional braces as well.
The treatments have been of great benefit to both adults and children alike, with many children overcoming their fear of smiling after having their teeth straightened.
