A major festive fundraising initiative will combine a £20,000 cash alternative or a 2021 Škoda Kodiaq Sportline prize with community donations and local influencer involvement.
McKinney Competitions has launched its 2026 Christmas campaign, Making A Difference, bringing together local businesses, influencers and members of the public to raise funds and provide practical support for three local charities.
The campaign, officially launched yesterday, will support Women’s Aid Armagh and Down, Caring Coins and Angel Wishes, with all profits generated from the campaign’s prize competition going towards the three organisations.
The competition offers participants the opportunity to win a 2021 Škoda Kodiaq Sportline, or opt for an alternative cash prize of £20,000.

However, organisers say the initiative is about much more than the prize, with a wider programme of community activity planned to help support the work of the three charities over the Christmas period.
Fronting the campaign are Adrian Logan, Peter Lavery and Tyree Patton, the faces of McKinney’s, who are encouraging the local community to get behind the initiative.
As part of the wider fundraising effort, McKinney Competitions has also enlisted the support of local influencers, who will each receive an allocated budget to purchase items specifically needed by the three charity partners.
The initiative is designed to provide practical support by ensuring the charities receive items that can directly benefit the individuals and families they work with.
The involvement of local influencers will also help raise awareness of the campaign and encourage further participation from the public.
McKinney’s is also appealing to the public to support a Christmas gift donation drive, giving people an opportunity to make a direct contribution to the campaign.
Members of the public can drop off donations at the following locations:
● McKinney Motors – Moy
● CPS Property- Armagh / Ballygawley / Belfast / Dungannon / Derry/Londonderry / Portadown / Monaghan
Toys, gifts and other suitable items will help support the three charities and bring some additional Christmas happiness to children and families who may need extra support during the festive season.

The donation initiative is intended to complement the financial fundraising element, creating several ways for the community to get involved.
The campaign will benefit three organisations carrying out important work within local communities:
● Women’s Aid Armagh and Down, which provides vital services and support to women and children affected by domestic abuse.
● Caring Coins, which supports people in need through community generosity and practical assistance.
● Angel Wishes, which helps bring happiness and special experiences to children and families facing challenging circumstances.
Speaking on behalf of McKinney’s, Adrian Logan, Peter Lavery and Tyree Patton said: “Christmas should be a time when everyone feels supported and cared for. We wanted this year’s campaign to be about more than simply offering someone the chance to win an incredible prize. We wanted to create something that would have a genuine and positive impact on our local communities.
“By supporting these three fantastic charities, involving local influencers and giving members of the public the opportunity to donate gifts, we hope to make a real difference to the lives of
individuals, children and families.

“We would love to see the local community get behind the campaign, whether that’s by entering the competition, making a donation or simply helping us spread the word. Every bit of support counts.”
The public can support Making A Difference by entering the prize competition, donating gifts at any of the collection points, or sharing the campaign through social media.
