A man who lost his bank card in Armagh before it was then used by a woman in a nearby sports shop has requested no further police action.
A video, being widely shared on social media, shows the alleged fraudster being confronted in the Spires Retail Park in Armagh on Saturday morning, August 16.
It is understood a man lost his card in the area but was notified by his banking app that it was being used in the nearby Sports Direct store.
The woman, when confronted, denies she took the card claiming it was her money she had used.
Police confirmed they received a report on Saturday morning.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a lost bank card being used by another person in the Moy Road area of Armagh on Saturday, August 16.
“The owner then recovered the card before the arrival of officers and requested no further police action.”
