A man is to appear in court following an incident in Armagh city centre on Tuesday morning.
Police have said a 31-year-old man has been charged to Armagh Magistrates’ Court next month following his arrest in the Thomas Street area, shortly before midday on Tuesday, June 17.
He has been charged with disorderly behaviour and assault on police.
He is due to appear before Armagh Magistrates’ – sitting in Newry – on Tuesday, July 8.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
