Funeral details announced for tragic Moy Road father-of-four

Funeral details have been announced for the first of three victims in a tragic road traffic collision on the Moy Road outside Armagh.

Conor Quinn (31) was travelling in the same vehicle as two others who sadly lost their lives on Saturday evening (February 21), 48-year-old John Guy from Keady and 23-year-old Laura Hoy‑Henry from Cookstown.

Detective Inspector Stewart confirmed that all three were travelling together in the same vehicle – a red BMW when tragedy struck shortly after 10.20pm that evening.

Conor – from the Derrylaughan area – is described as the cherished father of four boys, Riley, Garry, Cathair, Turlough.

Tributes paid to him describe him as the “life and soul of the party”, with an unmistakable smile.

He is due to repose at the home of his parents until removal for his funeral in St Brigid’s Church, Brocagh at 11am on Wednesday.

Two people travelling in a grey Volkswagen Amarok sustained injuries which required hospital treatment, while the driver of a white Audi Q3, also involved in the collision, reported minor injuries.

“Anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the collision, or who has dash-cam footage or any other information, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1654 21/02/26,” added Detective Inspector Stewart.
