Two very worthy causes have received a welcome post-Christmas present thanks to the sale of Willie Nugent’s annual festive book.

Willie would like to thank everyone who bought the book and made donations; all 400 were sold at £5 each, while the champion fundraiser also received £200 in donations.

This has resulted in a grand total of £2,200 which will be divided between Alzheimers Society and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Willie would like to thank his sponsor Nugent and Gibney Ltd, as well as those who sold the book, namely Armagh Blooms, Raffles, Curran’s Spar Shop, Macaris, Trimprints shop, Hawthornes, Dessie’s, Pet World, The Wax Pot and Gazette shop.

He has also said a special thank you to Armagh l for their never ending support.

Added Willie: “Hopefully we’ll all get together next Christmas and do it all again with book number four. Until then, stay safe and have a happy and healthy 2022!”
