Get ready for 10 days of family fun as Carnival Thrill FunFair makes its debut appearance in Armagh!
The famous fair is bringing something for everyone this May, arriving at their Keady Road site on Friday, May 17 where they will entertain the masses until Monday, May 27.
And, when they say “something for everyone” they mean it!
A spokesperson for Carnival Thrill FunFair said: “We have a wide range of rides suitable for all ages; from children’s merry-go-rounds to white-knuckle rides for more adventurous teenagers and adults.
The family-friendly entertainment’s company are also introducing a very special sensory session to help make the experience accessible to those who would typically find the bright lights and loud music a little too overwhelming.
Continued the spokesperson: “On the second Saturday, which will be Saturday May 23, we are going to run a sensory session from 2 – 3pm. All rides and attractions will be run at a slower pace, no music and less lighting.
“We want everyone to avail of the fun fair.
“The provisional time of 2pm – 3pm is subject to change. We have never been to Armagh before so we don’t know what sort of crowd to expect but if there is a lot of interest, we will extend the hour and notify people via our Facebook page.”
No visit to the fun fair would be complete without some candy floss, a bag of popcorn and a go at hooking the duck and the team at Carnival Thrill FunFair have promised that their experience will deliver on all fronts!
All attractions operate on a token system with a centralised token box located on site. There is no need to prebook tickets or reserve tickets online.
There will also be ample free parking on site .
Carnival Thrill FunFair will be located just off the Keady Road on the right hand side before the Newtownhamilton Road turn off.
The rides will be open to the public Monday to Friday 6pm – 9pm and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 2pm – 9pm.
