Police in Armagh are appealing for the public to be on the lookout following the theft of JCB TM 300 telehandler.

It was stolen from the Ballynafern Road, sometime between 4pm on Friday and 8.30am yesterday (Saturday).

The theft of the telehandler (similar to the one pictured) comes amid a spate of ATM thefts and increased warning from police to be alert.

Police say that any sightings of similar machinery should be reported immediately.

“If you see one parked up somewhere that raises suspicion, get in touch,” urged a PSNI spokesperson.

“The incident number is 285 of 13/04/19.”
