Two local businesses, H2 Flow (Barry Hughes) and Mamo Building Services (Joe Mallon), have proudly handed over a cheque for an outstanding £35,040 to Evora Hospice (formerly Newry Hospice) following the tremendous success of their recent annual Tractor Run and Fun Day.
An impressive total of £33,000 was raised thanks to a fantastic turnout on the day, with additional funds of £2,040 generated at the hugely popular “Happy Hooker” event, organised in partnership with Madden GFC and the City of Armagh Rugby Club.
Organisers Joe and Barry have expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who played a part in the fundraising success.
“We extend a heartfelt thank you to all sponsors, volunteers and attendees whose generosity, time and commitment made the event possible.
They continued: “Evora Hospice makes a real difference to many people and their surrounding families. The overwhelming community spirit shown throughout both events proved instrumental in reaching such an outstanding total.”
They look forward to welcoming everyone again at the next event!
