Thieves helped themselves to jewellery after breaking into a family home in south Armagh.
And detectives in Newry are appealing for information following the burglary, which happened sometime between 3pm and 11.30pm, last Monday, July 27.
The culprits forced their way into a house at Slieve View in Silverbridge.
Detective Constable Mandy Campbell explained: “A number of rooms were searched and a quantity of jewellery, of great sentimental value, was taken.
“We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity around this are during these times. We are also keen to trace the occupants of a small, silver hatchback car with a loud exhaust, which was driving in the area during these times.
“Anyone with information can contact us in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 4 280715.”
