Public Notice – Extension of an existing Special Educational Needs School with  associated internal and external alterations at Lisanally Special School, Armagh.  

Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and The Planning (Development Management)  Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 (Regulation 5 (2) (b)) as amended by The Planning  (Development Management) (Temporary Modifications) (Coronavirus) (Amendment No.2)  Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 

PREAPPLICATION COMMUNITY CONSULTATION 

Development proposal comprises of; 

Extension of an existing Special Educational Needs School with associated internal and  external alterations at Lisanally Special School, 85 Lisanally Lane, Armagh, BT61 7HF. 

Located at; Lisanally Special School, 85 Lisanally Lane, Armagh, BT61 7HF How information may be obtained concerning the proposed development? 

A Public Consultation Event will be held at Lisanally Special School – 85 Lisanally Lane,  Armagh, BT61 7HF, on Wednesday the 22nd of November 2023 during an after-school session  4-8pm.  

In addition, the Online Consultation Event will take place from 4pm to 5pm on the Wednesday  the 22nd of November 2023, through an online conferencing platform, Zoom or Microsoft  Teams. If you would like to attend the online consultation, please contact us through the details  provided below. Requests to attend the online conference (by email or post) must be received  by noon on Friday 17th November 2023. 

If you cannot attend these events, details of the proposed development can be sent by email  or hard copy and requested through the contact details outlined below.

The consultation period will begin week commencing Thursday the 9th of November 2023 and  will formally conclude Friday the 1st of December 2023. Please note that this notice does not  relate to a submitted planning application, therefore comments should not be made to Armagh,  Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council at this time. Any comments made to the applicant  are not representations to the planning authority. When the planning application is  subsequently submitted to Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council (after the pre application community consultation phase), normal neighbourhood notification and publicity  will be undertaken at that time, and you will have the opportunity to make formal  representations to the Council regarding the proposal.
